HomeTerms and Conditions

Updated: 13 October 2026

This edition clarifies confidentiality, payment reviews and policy updates. Orders already accepted remain subject to the terms applicable to them, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

Company and scope of these Terms

Translate24.pro is operated by Yuventa Services LTD, registration number 118725, Suite 3, Watergardens, Block 4, Gibraltar, GX11 1AA. 'We' means this company; 'you' means the customer or legal entity you represent. These Terms govern use of the website and the translation, transcription, localisation, voiceover and other language services accepted through it. They also cover relevant business and API orders, subject to any agreed service-specific contract.

An order is a request for services accepted by us in the platform or in writing. Client materials are the source text, files, recordings and instructions you supply; completed work is the result of the accepted service. These Terms, the accepted order details, Privacy Policy, Cancellation and Refund Policy and Cookie Policy should be read together.

Customer accounts and acceptance

You must have legal capacity to contract. If you are under 18, an order requires a parent or guardian with the necessary authority and agreement where applicable. The service is not intended for children under 13. Provide accurate account information, keep access credentials secure and use the account lawfully. Do not create multiple accounts to evade fees, restrictions or ratings. Placing an order accepts the applicable service terms; it is not blanket consent to personal-data processing.

Where you act for another person or organisation, you must have authority to place the order and provide its materials. The public information of an account does not establish that identity or source of funds has been verified.

Orders and delivery

Choose the service and languages, provide readable source materials in a supported format and review the displayed scope and price before submission. For audio, video, localisation, voiceover or API work, any additional requirements must be agreed for the order. You must have the rights and any necessary authority to supply the materials, including information concerning other people. We may seek clarification of incomplete instructions or unsuitable files.

Scope, price and any delivery estimate are those agreed for the particular order. Translators perform the accepted work and the result is made available through the service or the agreed delivery method. Tell us promptly about missing content or an apparent error so it can be reviewed. Do not manipulate word counts, prices or service classifications.

Charges, balance and payment verification

You must pay the price agreed for the order using the payment methods offered for that order. A balance payment and a completed service are separate events; relevant order and transaction records show how funds are used. Once the agreed work is supplied, the corresponding portion of the purchased service is considered used, subject to the refund policy and mandatory rights. Rates, taxes where applicable and the basis of the quote are shown or agreed before acceptance.

Payment organisations may require a justified review of transactions or proof of service delivery. We may request necessary clarifications and conduct necessary verification relating to payments, refunds or disputes as described in Privacy Policy. Any restriction or delay must have an applicable legal or contractual justification; a verification process without a stated justification is not an unlimited entitlement to retain money or change an agreed price.

You must not submit fraudulent payments, misuse another person's payment instrument or circumvent lawful payment controls. Any requested personal data must be necessary and processed under an appropriate lawful basis.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund rules are set out in Cancellation and Refund Policy. A translation cancelled before work begins qualifies for a full refund. Once work has begun, cancellation merely because of a change of mind is generally unavailable. Quality concerns are reviewed and corrections provided; if concerns remain after revisions, a partial refund is offered under the policy. Mandatory consumer and other statutory rights are not excluded by these Terms.

Rights in materials and permitted use

You retain your rights in your materials. You allow us and the relevant translators to use them to perform the accepted service and fulfil necessary related obligations. This does not give permission to publish private documents or use them for unrelated marketing. Third-party intellectual-property rights remain applicable.

Publicly posted content may be visible to other users; post only material you are authorised to make public. Do not copy, redistribute or commercialise protected website content or software without permission. Do not use the service for unlawful material, spam, harassment, malware, unauthorised scraping, attacks, bypassing access controls or collecting users' contact details for unsolicited messages.

Do not manipulate ratings or use contacts obtained through the platform to divert orders, solicit its customers or circumvent the platform's agreed fees. Independent service providers must fulfil their accepted assignments and applicable quality instructions.

Confidentiality

For customers, source documents, translations, private correspondence and non-public order information are confidential. Access is limited to what is needed to provide the service and fulfil lawful related responsibilities. Any proposed external disclosure is assessed under Privacy Policy; providing evidence of delivery does not automatically require revealing the document itself.

Translators and other contractors must protect client information, source files, completed work, recordings, prices, instructions, translation memories and glossaries. They must not publish, redistribute, use them for unrelated purposes or disclose them to unauthorised people. Necessary access by an authorised contractor is subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Confidentiality continues after an assignment ends. Contractors must return or securely delete materials as instructed, subject to lawful retention requirements, and consult us if the permitted use is unclear. Disclosure compelled by law or an enforceable official order is limited to what is required; advance notice is given where lawful and appropriate. The duty does not cover information lawfully public or independently received without a confidentiality breach.

Personal data and additional verification

Privacy Policy explains categories of data, purposes, lawful bases, recipients, retention and your rights. Payment processing, fraud prevention, disputes and justified compliance reviews may involve limited disclosure to payment organisations, acquiring banks, payment systems or other authorised recipients.

Where specific verification requires identity, address or funds evidence, we explain the purpose and applicable basis and request only necessary information. Materials provided for translation do not automatically become verification evidence. Accepting these Terms or a revised privacy notice is not retrospective consent to a disclosure. Additional protections apply to sensitive information and information about other people.

Independent service providers

Freelance translators and other contractors accept only work they are qualified and available to perform. They must deliver accurate and complete work consistent with the accepted instructions, spelling and grammar requirements, and agreed deadlines. Reasonable objections based on mistakes or mistranslations must be corrected within 2 weeks after they are provided; this does not automatically cover a stylistic preference that does not affect meaning or understanding.

Contractor fees may be agreed per word, as a fixed amount, hourly or by another mutually agreed basis. Payment method and timing are those agreed with the contractor; customer payment methods do not define contractor payout arrangements. Contractors must not divert platform customers, bypass agreed platform fees or use client materials outside the assignment.

A contractor receiving a legally compelled request for confidential materials must notify us within 3 days of the demand where legally permitted, and disclose only what is required. Confidentiality and lawful deletion or return duties continue after the assignment.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to provide the service described for the order, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every online interaction is risk-free. Use the service lawfully and assess whether a translation meets any particular formal or official-use requirement. We review translation issues through the order and refund processes.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to a customer under a contract shall not exceed 3 times the amount paid for the services under that contract or £250, whichever is higher, and indirect or consequential losses are excluded. These limits do not exclude liability or rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded, or obligations expressly agreed for an order. You are responsible for loss caused by your unlawful use, lack of authority to provide materials or breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

Restrictions and termination

We may restrict access or transactions where necessary and lawful to address fraud, unlawful use, material breach, non-payment, a justified investigation or enforceable official requirements. Measures should be proportionate to the circumstances. We give appropriate notice and an opportunity to address a remediable issue where lawful and practicable; immediate measures may be necessary for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance.

Termination does not remove accrued payment obligations, applicable refund rights or continuing confidentiality and lawful record-keeping responsibilities. Existing orders and balances are dealt with under the relevant terms and applicable law.

Changes and earlier orders

We publish the date of each edition and preserve earlier versions. Material changes affecting existing customers are communicated appropriately before taking effect, unless an immediate change is required by law or necessary for security. Where agreement or consent is legally required, a website update or continued browsing does not replace it.

Changes do not retrospectively rewrite an accepted order or create a lawful basis for past disclosures. Order-specific amendments must be agreed by the parties; mandatory law remains applicable. New processing purposes are handled under the information and assessment requirements described in Privacy Policy.

General provisions and contact

You may not transfer an account or contractual rights and obligations without our written agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful. These Terms and the accepted order documents set out the agreement concerning the service; mandatory law prevails. For personal-data matters, Privacy Policy takes precedence over an inconsistent general term.
